Review: Watsons deep cleansing nose pore strips

Hi guys! Today i'll be reviewing Watsons deep cleaning pore strips.

My nose has been a favorite habitat for white and blackheads. Sometimes, whatever i put on to my face; powder, foundation, etc. my stubborn blackheads just never fail to be unnoticeable. So here i am in the quest for finding the "black/whitehead eliminator" lol.
What does it says:

This nose strip is available in all Watsons stores, obviously. Price is 119.00 (if im not mistaken).

So here i am with the strip on:
Pasensya na kayo sa picture ko. Haha
Using this is the same with other nose strips. Wet the nose, peel the plastic off the strip. Place it on your nose. Press to secure in place. Leave to dry. The strip will harden like bond paper. Quickly Peel off the strip in one motion.

So let the photo talk:

I hope you can see the nasty whiteheads that came off my nose. Haha.

Alright, so my two cents:
It's an OK product for me.
Available almost everywhere.
The price seems reasonable considering you'll be having 10 strips per box.
Most visible whiteheads were removed.

Will i repurchase? Nahh. I dont think so... I might try to extract my blackheads andwhiteheads using an extractor. Hehe

So there you have it guys. Short and sweet.  Straight to the point!

Have you tried this nose strip? What else would you recommend for me to try? Leave a comment.
I'm lemming for the biore nose strip. I just dont know where to buy it. 😁

Thanks for reading!

Review: L.A. Girl Gel Liner

Hey guys! Today ill be reviewing the L.A. Gel liner in gel722 very black.

First i would like to say that i have a very oily lids. Most eye makeup that i used caked, crease, melt, and transforms to something else hehe. So, honestly i'm not expecting much with this product.

There's the package. Price is php 249.00, quite affordable for a gel liner. Product lasts for 6 months. You can do the math 😜.

The pot is small and it comes with a free brush. I honestly felt sad seeing the small product in a bulky box. I felt sorry for mother nature due to the amount of trash
I'll be contributing due to this purchase... Sigh.

Back to the review. The pot contains 3g of super black gel liner. Highly pigmented and smudge proof. Take a peep.

Lets do a road test:
Before photo
Eyes: no primer, lashes curled and with mascara.

Edited:
Well, it doesnt look dramatic but i must really say that this gel eyeliner is no brainer to apply. I'm really having a hard time drawing a wing on my lash line but this gel liner and the brush that comes with it makes it such a breeze.

This is my first gel type liner. I usually use the liquid type but it looks to plastic-y on my eyes that looks almost fake while this loveys sure brings out smokey eye effect in a more natural way. Plus the brush might look like too big but its the perfect applicator for the gel. Well, its not included there as an accessory.

At first 2 hours, this liner didnt move! It just stays gorgeously on my lashline. Unfortunately, it only lasted 6hrs on me. It started to smudge on my lower lids and my lid crease... Regardless where i am. Sa jeep, sa hotel, sa labas, kahit sa airconditioned room sa office, o sa mall. Sad! 😭

I really wanted a liner that would not smear. Who would want raccoon. Eyes. Nakakafrustrate lang kasi pinaghirapan mo yung makeup mo, naginvest ka, then you'll end up looking like a "high on juts mess" 😷 just before half of the day ends. Pano nalang kung magpaparty ka? Or aatend ng wedding? Hays

Would i buy this again? No. Even if its cheaper. I'll just finish this pot for smokey eye look.

I still highly recommend it though, i can say that this gel liner is amazing to dry lids. Its creamy and easy to use and waterproof! And i must really say that you get higher value of the product for the price 👍

Where to buy this amazing gel liner:
SM department stores - L.A. Girl kiosks.
Watsons.

More pics 😊

What fool proof eyeliner would you recommend?

Have you tried L.A. Girl Gel liner?
What do you think? Comment below.

Thanks much for reading! Mwah!

Review: Laneige Snow BB Soothing Cushion.

Good day lovies!

Today I’ll be reviewing Laneige Snow BB Soothing Cushion.

Okay, so I’m still in my journey of finding my Holy Grail face product for my troubled skin. My stash is being piled up with skin care products, primer, bb creams, foundations, moisturizers, peeling gels, so on and so forth. While browsing some good stuff on the net, i stumbled upon lots and lots of blogs about this product and it looks promising. Being a gullible me, i took a trip to nearest laneige boutique to have the BB cushion. The price is steep. Yeah steep. I have a regular paying job and i can’t afford high end products, still i save up for them thinking “if i should find my HG somewhere, i must have funds to afford it.” Enough of my blabbing...

Tadaah. Yep it’s the refill. It’s cheaper at Php950 while the compact is Php1950 with free refill. I don’t get the “Free Refill” thing while obviously you’re not having it for free. The numbers clearly saying that you get the compact at Php50.00. that’s it! Simple numbers.... At least, it’s not misleading.

So it’s contained in a cute box with neon pink interior (sounds like a car). It’s super pretty, but really? I’m not buying the product because of the box.

The packaging is white plastic tub with lid. The lid is flimsy and you really need the compact if you want the product to be secured. It contains 15g of BB liquid soaked in a cushion. Based on what i see, it’s a sponge soaked with bb cream for faster application. The applicator is genius. It’s sturdy and almost rubbery, so very minimal product goes to the applicator.

Upon application, you will feel a cool sensation which you don’t get to any other make-up product. It’s because of their “snow technology” that they incorporate into their product, True to its claims.
I got the #21 which i think is lighter than my color. I really don’t know if im acidic, but makeup usually oxidizes on my face leaving tad darker color than the original. I learned my lesson, im now on applying it in every purchase. And im right! After 20 minutes, the color blends in perfectly! Yay! I received a compliment on the first day of using it, and my skin really got a bad breakout that time. It lasted 6 hours and never caked. I didn’t need to reapply makeup the whole day. I did few blotting, though. Yeah i sweat, and my face is oily. Drying was also instant. So the performance is really not that bad! PLUS I DIDN’T BREAK OUT!!!

So there, i finished my refill tub. Im a happy laneige user and in love with it!
Lasting power       5/5
Oil control          4.5/5
Ease of use        4.8/5
Value for money    3/5

The only down fall of the product is the attempt on giving innovative packaging and application method of the product. The refill lid doesn’t really close the product.  Even with the compact, the opening of the tub will not give you control on air exposure of the product that could result to immediate drying of it. Since the product is presented as sponge soaked, the drying could also happen within its medium. In the long run, the BB stuff will be left in the sponge to dry instead of your face. I would prefer it in a pump bottle.

Tip: flip the sponge to get the product in the bottom of the tub.

There was also a point in time that i’m using the sponge as the applicator. That’s how much i want to get the last drop of it. I even attempted to cut it in half, but i’m so afraid that the scissor will get the most of it instead of my face.

I finished the tub within a month.
Will i repurchase? OF COURSE! But not anytime soon.

While in the boutique, i was able to try their lipsticks, and they gave me sample of Sleeping Pack_Ex.
Watch out for the review!

Love lots!
